ILLUSTRATIONS INSPIRED by various books and stories.
Young adult books and children stories are some of my favorite sources for inspiration. Rich with creative imagery they make for great resources. When reading through a book for a first time I keep a small pad of post-it notes nearby. When I come across an interesting passage or scene I mark it, sometimes even draw a quick sketch. By the time I finish the book the pages are littered with small post-it notes, nearly as thick as the book.
